Brigade concert outside Divn hd qrs at 8.30pm.

Motored into Doullens in the afternoon. Saw Branker & Hobbs there, both 5^th Divn staff; their divn was on the way through for the push. I also saw two Australian Battns marching through.

Raikes & Haversham dined, also Morgan & we played bridge.

Heard of Raymond's death last Sunday from Father. Handress Lloyd and Fuller dined. Monkhouse has just been made a brigadier, I fitted him out with all the badges.

Motored into Amiens with Bayley & Peto. Lunched at the Godbert & got back about 6pm.Welch and Morgan died.

Hunter Weston addressed all the battns in the morning. Dined with De Lisle in the evening, Motored into Doullens in the afternoon.
